Is it childish to have a dream, to want to follow it? How many people actually enjoy the job they have? I presently work in the food industry and my goodness it is awful. Patrons are extremely particular about their food. I dread having to wake up and go to work. It is not what I enjoy. It is not what I want to do with my life.
What I do like to do is write. I like to write creative stories. I occasionally whip out a poem. I prefer when teachers assign writing assignments compared to timed tests. I like doing what I am good at. I am good at what I like.
I want to pursue my passion. That's my aim. As a Kanye West song lyric says, "reach for the stars, so if you fall you land on a cloud."
